Sheddon Physiotherapy and Sports Clinic (SPSC) has been a member of the Oakville community for over 15 years and strongly believes in being involved within the Oakville community and giving back to those who have supported us throughout the years, as well as helping those who are less fortunate. This holiday season we will be collecting donations for our Christmas Food Drive, but our Toy Donations have changed due to Covid.
Food donations are in support of the Kerr Street Mission, a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. The number of clients using this service has more than doubled from last year because of how covid is impacting our community. Now more than ever they appreciate our help.
Here is a list of things they are always short of:
Canned corn niblets
We will be collecting food until Dec 22nd at noon.
Every year Sheddon has participated in the Oakville FireFighters Toy Drive. All donations are distributed directly to local families, institutions and community agencies supporting children and youth in the Oakville and Halton Region. This year, due to Covid restrictions, we will not be collecting toys, the Oakville Firefighters are instead asking that you donate by sending an Interac eTransfer at firstname.lastname@example.org. In addition, the Town of Oakville is offering a unique way to help spread joy this holiday season! On December 4, Oakville firefighters will host their revamped 28th annual drive-thru toy drive at Coronation Park from 5 to 9 p.m. Click here to find out more:
