Join us every Sunday at 9AM out of our Oakville Athletic Academy (OAA) clinic for a fun, supportive, and energizing group run.
Whether you’re training for your first 5K, building up your mileage, or just looking for a reason to move more, this club is for runners of all levels. Our physiotherapists will be there each week to guide you on safe training, injury prevention, and performance tips — so you can run smarter and feel your best.
Why Run with a Group?

Running can be a solo sport, but joining a group can take your motivation, accountability, and enjoyment to the next level. Here are just a few reasons why running with others makes such a difference:
1. Stay Motivated and Consistent
It’s easier to show up when you know others are waiting for you. Group runs help build routine and make training something to look forward to.
2. Push Yourself Safely
Running alongside others often helps you go a little farther or faster.
3. Learn from Experts
Our Sheddon team will include a proper warm-up and cool-down before and after each run to help your body move efficiently and recover well. You’ll also get ongoing tips on injury prevention.
4. Build Community
Running is more fun when you share the journey! Meet new people in Oakville who share your goals and enjoy the outdoors together.
5. Improve Your Mental Health
Group runs aren’t just great for your body — they’re good for your mind. Social connection and movement are proven to reduce stress, boost mood, and improve overall well-being.
