Physiotherapist
Sherif Hassan
Sherif completed his Master of Physical Therapy degree at Western University after earning his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University. His interest in physiotherapy began early, after experiencing first-hand the value of rehabilitation when recovering from sport-related injuries during his athletic career.
As a former member of the Canadian National Taekwondo Team for nearly a decade, Sherif represented Canada on some of the world’s biggest stages. He also serves in the Canadian Armed Forces with the Navy, experiences that instilled discipline, resilience, and a commitment to helping others that he carries into his practice today.
Sherif’s approach to treatment is individualized and patient-focused, combining manual therapy, exercise-based rehabilitation, and education to provide a comprehensive care plan. He is passionate about empowering patients to understand their injuries, actively participate in their recovery, and return to the activities that matter most to them. His ultimate goal is to help people of all ages restore function, reduce pain, and regain confidence in their daily lives.
Outside of physiotherapy, Sherif enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, travelling, and continuing to expand his clinical skills through ongoing professional development.
