Karina Bruce
Karina is a passionate and dedicated physiotherapist from Etobicoke, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. She earned her Degree in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland after completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University in Halifax.
During her time at Dalhousie, Karina developed her skills as an athletic trainer for the university’s lacrosse and field hockey teams. She also worked with IWK Health to raise funds for families with sick children, an experience that ignited her passion for sports-related injuries and deepened her commitment to helping patients achieve their goals.
Karina’s treatment approach is individualized and evidence-based, combining education, manual therapy, and movement-based rehabilitation to ensure effective outcomes. She is dedicated to ongoing professional development and plans to pursue advanced training in concussion, acupuncture, dry needling, and ultimately achieve her Sports Physiotherapy designation.
Outside the clinic, Karina enjoys spending time with her dogs and staying active on the ice, continuing her lifelong love of sports. With her commitment to learning and a patient-centered approach, she is eager to make a positive impact on the lives of those she works with.
