Physiotherapist
Karina Bruce
Karina is a physiotherapist and former competitive hockey player who understands firsthand the frustration of being sidelined by injury. She is passionate about helping clients return to the activities they love stronger, more resilient, and confident in their bodies. With a deep appreciation for the physical and mental demands of sport, she is driven to help clients return to performance at a high level.
Her approach to physiotherapy is highly individualized with every rehab plan tailored to each client’s unique goals, lifestyle, and, when applicable, the demands of their sport and position. Going beyond recovery to optimize performance, regardless of age or skill level.
Karina has additional training in concussion management, acupuncture, and dry needling, which she integrates into treatment to support recovery, reduce pain, and enhance performance.
She emphasizes education, helping clients understand their injury and the “why” behind their rehab so they can take an active role in recovery and build long-term resilience. She believes rehab should go beyond getting out of pain, it should prepare you to move better, perform stronger, and reduce the risk of future injury.
