Mark received his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University, where he spent 3 years working as a Human Anatomy & Physiology Teaching Assistant. He is certified in Soft Tissue Release, acupuncture and is currently completing the Manual Therapy levels through the Orthopaedic Division.
His passion for physiotherapy is founded on his love for physical activity, his interest in how the human body functions, and his desire to help people. By combining hands-on treatment with therapeutic exercise, he aims to maximize physical function to help his patients live strong and pain-free lives. Mark enjoys working with all types of patients and looks forward to helping you return to optimal function.
Through his history as a hockey and wrestling athlete, Mark has personal experience with both high-level performance and the journey of rehabilitation following debilitating injuries. Mark passionately believes in treating the root cause of his patients’ pathologies, instead of simply treating symptoms. Each of his patients receives a comprehensive assessment, manual therapy, individualized therapeutic exercises, and education about their pathology to prevent future recurrences.
