Dana Clark: BScPT, FCAMT, CAFCI

Dana Clark has been practicing in the area of orthopaedics since 1995. He has
received instruction from international physiotherapists and has been a Fellow
of the Academy of Manipulative Therapists since 2000. He is registered on the
instructor's list with the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy
Association and has been teaching regularly since 1999 to physiotherapists,
hospitals and medical groups on various aspects of orthopedic manual therapy.
He is also a Fellow of the Canadian Orthopractic Manual Therapy
Association (known also as Part B Therapist).
His clinical interests lie in the treatment of dysfunction of the spine and its
co-related problems. He was the Head Therapist of one of the largest Sports
Medicine clinics in Canada, prior to his move to Oakville, and has a keen
interest in the quick and full recovery of all sporting injuries.
Dana is trained in spinal manipulation to correct movement impairments and in
the use of medical acupuncture.
Working closely with all the members of the team, Dana will help speed your recovery and assist you in avoiding further episodes of similar problems. |

Michelle Macdonald: BPHE, MScPT, CAFCI
Registered Physiotherapist

Michelle Macdonald is a Registered Physiotherapist who graduated with a Masters degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto. Her undergraduate degree was in physical and health education, providing Michelle with good knowledge about the body’s biomechanics, energy systems, and optimal recovery from injury. Michelle has achieved Certification with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute and advances her clinical skills through continued education in manual therapy to better serve her clients’ needs.
Michelle has worked with people of all ages and caters her treatment techniques to the needs of each individual. She has always taken a special interest in athletes, as she participated nationally in track and field and was a team therapist for varsity athletics at the University of Toronto.
Michelle looks forward to working with you to help optimize your recovery from injury and prevent the reoccurrence of similar problems.

Alicia Jury: B.Kin.(Hons), MScPT

Alicia Jury graduated in 2007 with a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of
Toronto where she was able to gain clinical experience in a variety of settings such as orthopedics, neurology and post surgical. Prior to attending U of T she received an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from McMaster University with a focus on exercise physiology and anatomy. During her time at Mac she was a member of the Women's Varsity Basketball team, an athletic therapist for the Men's Volleyball team and the program coordinator of a therapeutic program for individuals with spinal cord injury. She has a passion for sport and fitness; spending most of her free time playing basketball and softball or coaching basketball. Alicia looks forward to gaining experience in the field of orthopedics at Sheddon Physio and plans to pursue further courses in acupuncture and manual therapy.

Beth Truedell: BA.Kin, MScPT

Beth Truedell graduated in 2008 with a Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. She completed her undergraduate work at Laurier University receiving an honours degree in Kinesiology & Physical Education. Beth is looking forward to further developing her clinical skills through continuing education courses in acupuncture and manual therapy.
Beth has experience working with patients of all ages and abilities and through clinical placements has had the opportunity to work in a variety of rehabilitation settings including orthopaedics, neurology, and paediatrics. Through her clinical experiences she has developed a particular interest in the assessment and treatment of sports related injuries.
Beth enjoys playing hockey and softball and is currently volunteering as a trainer for the Leaside Kings midget AA hockey team in Toronto.

Dr. Jason Kobrick: BSc, D.C.
Chiropractor

Dr. Jason M. Kobrick holds a Doctorate in Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia. Dr. Kobrick is a fully certified Active Release Techniques (ART®) provider. He is certified in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. He is a FITforeGOLF (level 4) graduate in golf swing analysis and injury assessment. Dr. Kobrick also uses a video analysis program called Dartfish to do sport biomechanicals.
(Analysis of biomechanical function is an integral part of rehabilitating an injury. Visual feedback to the patient improves rate of recovery and enforces proper mechanics. Sheddon Physiotherapy and Sports Clinic is one of the only health clinics in Ontario that uses Dartfish for sport and biomechanical analysis.)
Dr. Kobrick has experience treating professional, national and amateur athletes from a variety of sport disciplines, which includes a number of amateur and professional Tennis players in Canada. He is currently one of the consulting Chiropractors for the Ontario and Canadian Sailing Teams. He is also a consulting Chiropractor for the Ontario Women’s Ski Team and for the ACE Tennis Academy. He also consults with an OHL and an NHL hockey team.
Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Kobrick was a national team athlete competing for the Canadian Sailing Team in the 470 class.
Dr. Kobrick focused on his professional career as a Chiropractor with an interest in sport and began working at the Sports Medicine Specialists in Toronto. This provided him the opportunity to better define his skills in diagnostics, orthopedics, treatment protocols, rehabilitation, and sport biomechanicals. It also allowed him to develop his skills on how sport programming that targets at performance enhancement can be complimented to injury management and prevention.
Sports medicine is on the cutting edge of research, pushing the boundaries of human recovery, and Dr. Kobrick believes it is critical to keep up to date with his continuing education and treatment procedures. Implementing chiropractic, ART®, acupuncture, biomechanical/functional assessments, video analysis and rehabilitation exercises provide the patient with the highest standard of care.

Jennifer Macdonald: RMT, Sports Injury

Jennifer Macdonald, R.M.T. is the most recent addition to our clinic. She is a recent graduate from the Canadian Therapeutic College in Burlington and is an active member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Jennifer strives to provide exceptional service and care in a professional manner, while encouraging clients to be proactive in their health through regular treatment, education and body awareness. Jennifer performs several techniques from General Swedish Massage, Prenatal massage, Myofascial Trigger points, Fascial work, Frictions and many other techniques to help her clients cope with their injuries, aches and pains.

Anthony Sreblowski: RMT, Sports Injury Therapist

Anthony Sreblowski graduated from Canadian Therapeutic College as a Massage Therapist. Additionally, he studied an extra year to specialize in Sports Injury Therapy. Anthony continues to broaden his knowledge having taken Active Release Technique (ART) and currently studying Acupuncture. He has worked with many sports teams including hockey, soccer, judo, skateboarding, trampoline and tumbling. Anthony is a certified personal trainer and also follows his own passion for training and cycling. He has a diverse knowledge on treating and rehabilitating injuries for the athlete, the weekend warrior or the everyday individual.

B.P.E., A.T., C Ped ©. Peter holds a Bachelor of Physical Education Degree and a
Diploma in Athletic Therapy and Management. Through The College Of Pedorthics Of
Canada, Peter has also received the designation of CERTIFIED PEDORTHIST
(CANADA). Since 1983, Peter has provided clinical services to thousands of
athletic and non-athletic patients. Orthotic and footwear management of
orthopaedic, diabetic and rheumatoid foot conditions also fall within his area
of expertise. Presently Peter provides exclusive orthotic services to The Sports
Medicine Specialists of Toronto and to the National Ballet of Canada. Peter
GUARANTEES comfort with his orthotics. Adjustments are done at no extra cost. |

Lauren MacPhail: B.HSc.
Kinesiologist
Lauren is a recent graduate of the University of Western Ontario where she obtained her Bachelors degree in Health Sciences. Lauren began as a volunteer at Sheddon physio, and has since joined the team to gain valuable experience and direction from the highly trained and experienced therapists at Sheddon physio. She loves to meet new clients and be a part of helping them progressively reach their goals. Lauren hopes to return to school to obtain her Masters in Physiotherapy in the near future.
